cell phone radiation in various environments. Each model was independently created by an
organization or university specializing in electromagnetic studies.The models are based upon
radiated power measurement in dB, which is the same measurement criteria used
for AegisGuard™ test standards supporting this
criteria, and present the
point where the SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) value for a specific phone model occurred.
They include phantoms and associated
materials for dosimeter measurements to compare the measured and calculated SAR values of
mobile phones.
The
models do not
illustrate the effects of continuous phone use after a SAR level is reached, such as
during a conversation.
